Please visit us at our dock, located at the Elk Lake Retreat: 8095 Cairn Highway, Elk Rapids, MI 49629.

When you arrive, park as close to the garage as possible. If your group arrives in multiple vehicles, feel free to double park to make the best use of the limited space.

We appreciate your help in ensuring everyone has room—thank you for being courteous to fellow guests!

Fuel

Fuel ChargeDaily rentals are charged for fuel used @ $10/gallon. We only use recreational fuel in our equipment. Please do not add your own, unless fueling at Elk Lake Marina or on Torch River. What happens if it rains on the day of my rental?

Accepted Answer

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. If weather conditions are unsafe due to heavy rain, high winds, or lightning, we will work with you to reschedule your rental at no extra cost. We do not offer a refund if we have to reschedule you. Please understand we will make a reasonable effort to reschedule you during your visit to ensure your safety remains our #1 priority.Light rain typically does not result in cancellations, but we encourage you to check the forecast and contact us 24 hours in advance if you have concerns.

What should I bring for my boat rental?

Accepted Answer

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a towel, snacks, water, and a fully charged phone. Non-marking shoes are also preferred. Life jackets are provided for all passengers and children. Tubes, coolers and lili-pads are available for an additional fee.

Can we bring food and drinks on the boat?

A: Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including alcohol (for passengers only—designated drivers must remain sober). Please drink responsibly and help keep our boats clean.

Pets

Accepted Answer

Yes, for a $50 non refundable fee we will allow you to bring your pet. Please understand, these are new boats. We are trying to keep them in tip-top shape to provide a superior service to our customers.
